Cindy holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting and has been a practicing CPA for over 20 years. Her career began at the “Big 4” firm of Ernst & Young, LLP. She has been in private practice for 12 years and has attracted a clientele that ranges from Fortune 500 CEOs to NFL athletes, to owners of growing start-ups. She founded her own CPA firm, NextGen, in 2017 and under her leadership, the firm grew from a solopreneur at a kitchen table to a multi-million dollar firm with offices in 4 states and a team of 25+ dynamic women.
Cindy has been a podcast guest, panelist, and keynote speaker for audiences of all sizes. Her notable features include Forbes magazine, For(bes) the Culture: Journey to Wealth series, Startup Grinds, and NXT Entrepreneur national podcast. She has also facilitated various workshops and roundtables for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Administration, and Startup Week organizations.

Cindy also serves her community and is a generous supporter of local charities and faith-based organizations. When not working, Cindy spends time with her husband of 18 years, Dr. Jonathan McGhee, their two kids, and enjoys reading a good book.
